2-Night Hotel Stay Included!
Tickets include a 2-night stay at the award-winning Holiday Inn & Suites at 432 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania 19034 (Link). You can add additional nights for the day before arrival (Thursday night) or an extended stay (through Sunday night) by contacting us at sales@thegametheatre.com.
Commuter (no hotel) tickets are also available for local players. Contact us through the above email for details.
Meals are Included!
Tickets include catered lunches and dinners with vegetarian and gluten-free options (seafood/shellfish, peanuts, and other common allergens are avoided). Unlimited snacks and beverages are available at all times, and adult beverages are served.
Adventure Tables
The maximum number of players at an adventure table is six. If you purchase the same campaign, we will pair up couples, friends, and family at the same table. If you are in a group of 3–4, we will add two more people to your table. We limit the number of tables to prevent crowding and noise.
Transportation
No shuttles are provided between the airport, venue, and hotel. However, we have a ride-share channel in the event’s Discord for players to arrange ride-shares for arrival and departure if needed. Of course, ride-share apps simplify travel nowadays. Getting to and from is never an issue!
Character Creation & Rules
Discord channels open 2-3 weeks before each event for convenient onboarding. We will provide character guidelines, and parties will be assigned private channels to meet, develop a backstory, and prepare. 5E (2014) Rules will be used for all 2025 events.

WHAT IS AN ACCELERATED CAMPAIGN?
Finally, you’ll finish a campaign in under three years! Many groups struggle to meet weekly, monthly, or whatever the schedule is. Life happens, and we accept that. We want you to play for the entire weekend, and by the end of the weekend, you'll have finished the whole campaign with its beginning, middle, and end! Start with a new character and end with a complete story. That’s what we do, so you’ll have an epic tale to discuss for years!
You're the "Big Damn Heroes," and the world needs your help! Our curated game groups and campaign stories accelerate the action and ensure you hit all the "Big Epic Roleplay Moments" and the "Big Boss Battles" at RPG in a Castle! Each session throughout the weekend will take you to significant milestones in the story. Beginning on Friday morning and concluding on Sunday, you will relish engaging in our carefully guided campaign adventures, feeling a sense of accomplishment for everything significant in the game.
