Event Dates
Tabletop RPG in a Castle is a unique event that occurs only a few times a year. Our next event is February 21-23, 2025; future dates will be announced in 2025.
Location & Hotel
We host our next event at Glencairn Museum at 1001 Cathedral Rd., Bryn Athyn, PA 19009. All of our magical medical locations are currently in Philadelphia, PA. The hotel is a lovely Holiday Inn—423 Pennsylvania Ave., Fort Washington, PA, about a 17-minute drive to the venue.
Food & Drinks (21+ event)
Event meals include complimentary hotel breakfast, “grab and go” catered lunches to save game time, and catered dinners. Ticket purchasers can alert us to their food allergies at checkout. Adult beverages are also served. Hence, we are a 21+ event.
Costumes
Costumes are optional. Your attire can be casual.
Adventure Party Tables
The maximum number of players at a campaign table is six. If you purchase the same campaign, we will pair up couples, friends, and family at the same table. If you are in a group of 3–4, we will add 2–3 more people to your table. We limit the number of tables to prevent crowding and noise. Ticket Types
As outlined on this website and in the brochure, your ticket includes everything you need for an RPG weekend gaming vacation. The only decision is between a 2-night and 3-night hotel stay.
Transportation
No shuttles are available between the airport and the hotel or between the hotel and the game venue. Player ride-sharing and car services will be plentiful.

WHAT IS AN ACCELERATED CAMPAIGN?
Finally, you’ll finish a campaign in under three years! Many groups struggle to meet weekly, monthly, or whatever the schedule is. Life happens, and we accept that. We want you to play for the entire weekend, and by the end of the weekend, you'll have finished the whole campaign with its beginning, middle, and end! Start with a new character and end with a complete story. That’s what we do, so you’ll have an epic tale to discuss for years!
You're the "Big Damn Heroes," and the world needs your help! Our curated game groups and campaign stories accelerate the action and ensure you hit all the "Big Epic Roleplay Moments" and the "Big Boss Battles" at RPG in a Castle! Each session throughout the weekend will take you to significant milestones in the story. Beginning on Friday morning and concluding on Sunday, you will relish engaging in our carefully guided campaign adventures, feeling a sense of accomplishment for everything significant in the game.

The Hotel

We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with this hotel over the past seven years. It's close to historic venues, and the staff has consistently provided quality accommodations and service, including complimentary breakfast each morning. The hotel is a relaxed 12-mile drive to the game venue. As with all of our events, ride shares will be plentiful for players without vehicles.
Travel is Easy!
The majestic historic district of Bryn Athyn hosts many of our events. Your Tabletop RPG in a Castle adventure will take you to the Glencairn Museum, a towering gothic masterpiece 35 minutes north of Philadelphia International Airport.
This was easily the smoothest and most cohesive game I've ever been in (though that was probably the point of turning it into an event, lol), not to mention the most unique story. - Spenser
